I have been dealing with a lot for the last few weeks. The loss of a friend. The loss of a family member. And today I deal with the loss of my best friend. Many of you have heard me talk about my friend Ed. We used to stay up all hours of the night just laughing. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. I am so sad to no longer have him in my life. I went to see him at the hospital a few weeks ago. And he opened his eyes just long enough for me to get up and look at him. I like to think that he knew I was there.
Ed, you truly were an awesome person. Thanks for the great laughs and great time. I was blessed to have you in my life. As many of us were blessed to have you in our lives.
