New Home

OK my last post was a deep one. This is of a lighter nature. As of August 1, 2009 (July really) I became a home owner. Yes, I bought my first home, it's a co-op but its mine, well the banks for right now. It is something that I thought would never be. And it is something I have wanted for a long time. It was very exciting moving in and getting all new furniture and having that brought in. Hanging up my first two pictures (OK so far the only pictures). Having all the help that I got to paint. I still need to paint the hallway and bathroom. I couldn't wait any longer. My friends wanted to know when I would be having a house warming. So I did. And it was a great time. I enjoyed having my family, friends, and even new friends that I have made since I moved in, join in the celebration. I missed those of you that couldn't make it but I do understand...That little thing called life gets in the way...but I have to say you were missed for sure.

I have to admit for the last year and a half I have had a lot going on. I have lost some friends and family members (R.I.P.). I have had changes in my life, some not so happy. I have to admit, the day I step foot in my new home everything else didn't matter. I have always felt that life is what you make it. I have always tried to keep the negative out. All I can say now is, life is good...and it keeps getting better!!!
